Waddington Custot comes to Art Basel Miami Beach with a range of important works spanning the twentieth century. The gallery brings together heavyweight artists either from or with strong connections to the United States, such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Peter Halley, Sol LeWitt, Robert Motherwell, Allan d'Arcangelo, John Chamberlain, Jedd Novatt, Kenneth Noland, Robert Rauschenberg and John Wesley, together with important British artists represented by Waddington Custot such as the well-loved sculptor Barry Flanagan, who will be celebrated through the gallery's London exhibition programme with a solo show in spring 2020, and showstopper Ian Davenport, represented by the gallery since his graduation from Goldsmiths in London. Jean Dubuffet, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Manolo Millares and Jean Hélion are among the European artists who the gallery has worked with for decades, represented on the booth through key paintings.
Pablo Reinoso is celebrated on the Waddington Custot booth with works relating to a major new installation unveiled in Miami to coincide with the fair. 'Still Tree' will be on view until 8 December.
