Landon Metz at Museo Pietro Canonica

Contemporary artist Landon Metz is the subject of a new solo exhibition at Museo Pietro Canonica in Villa Borghese.

Having visited Rome several times, staying to explore the city, Metz has conceived a project inspired by the historical and cultural context of the Canonica Museum. The show incorporates, painting, installation and site responsive works.

Despite Metz’s abstract and two-dimensional language being far removed from the classical sculptures of the Pietro Canonica, the artist is successful in his intriguing and playful disruptions.
