Waddington Custot is delighted to inaugurate our first Parisian space at 36 rue de Seine in Saint-Germain-des-Prés with The Nabi Shock, a landmark exhibition bringing together key works by Nabi masters - among them Bonnard, Denis, Sérusier and Vuillard - alongside pieces by leading contemporary artists including Etel Adnan, Ian Davenport and Fabienne Verdier. The exhibition reveals the striking contemporary resonance of the Nabis' aesthetic, in which colour, rhythm and interiority remain the driving forces. Led by Isaure de Roquefeuil and Antoine Clavé, our Paris gallery reaffirms our longstanding ties to France and our commitment to fostering a meaningful dialogue between modern and contemporary art.
