Bernar Venet Exhibits at the Picasso Museum, Antibes, This Summer
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Arman’s death (1928–2005), the Picasso Museum, in collaboration with MAMAC, presents a tribute exhibition featuring a selection of works by Arman from 1953 to 1969, drawn from the collection of the Nice museum.
This exhibition also traces the evolution of Bernar Venet’s painted work, from his conceptual period to his more recent Generative Angle paintings, shown for the first time in a French museum, and following Waddington Custot’s recent exhibition, Bernar Venet: When Steel Dreams of Code.The exhibition is accompanied by a display of monumental Corten steel sculptures installed on the Pré des Pêcheurs esplanade.
