Waddington Custot to Open New Gallery in Paris
Waddington Custot is delighted to announce the opening of a new gallery space at 36 rue de Seine, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris. Launching in October 2025 to coincide with Art Basel Paris, this marks a significant expansion of the gallery’s international presence, following decades in London and nearly a decade in Dubai.
Located in the former Lansberg Gallery, the new 200-square-metre space will be led by Isaure de Roquefeuil, long-time Waddington Custot associate, and Antoine Clavé, Parisian gallerist and grandson of artist Antoni Clavé. Their combined expertise will guide the gallery’s engagement with collectors, institutions, and the wider art community in France and beyond.
The inaugural exhibition will be a major presentation dedicated to the Nabis, a cornerstone of modern art and a long-standing area of expertise for the gallery. This will be followed by a curated group show of modern and contemporary artists, reflecting Waddington Custot’s signature approach to bridging historical and contemporary practices.
The new Paris gallery underscores Waddington Custot’s commitment to cultural dialogue, curatorial excellence, and global reach. We look forward to welcoming visitors to this new space for discovery, conversation, and artistic exchange.
