‘Ti ricorda il primo amor’ included in Vertigo Exhibition

We are pleased to share Fabienne Verdier is included in an exhibition at Fondation Carmignac. The exhibition, Vertigo, features the painting ‘Ti ricorda il primo amor’ (2020) by French artist Fabienne Verdier.

Vertigo explores the links between the perception of natural phenomena and abstraction since the 1950s. It brings together artists who have moved away from figuration to render sensations brought about by the experience of nature.The exhibition is divided into five parts, each representing a visual register associated with landscape: the aquatic, the cosmogonic, the aerial, the infinite, and the terrestrial.

The exhibition is curated by Matthieu Poirier and is on view from April 26 to 2 November, at Villa Carmignac, Île de Porquerolles, France.
