Forthcoming exhibition

Art Monte-Carlo 2025

Stand C7
7–9 July 2025

Returning to Art Monte-Carlo 2025 for the second time, Waddington Custot is pleased to exhibit a duo presentation of artworks by two important female artists: Fabienne Verdier and Sophia Vari.

The presentation brings together two artists united by a deep sensitivity to material and form. Where Sophia Vari (b.1940, Athens, Greece; d.2023, Monte Carlo, Monaco) is celebrated for a distinct and coherent visual language through which she investigated abstract volume, form and balance, Fabienne Verdier (b.1962, Paris) explores the dynamism of natural forces, combining the aesthetics of Western art with aspects of traditional Eastern art through monumental brushwork.
